On Being Psychic

I had my first paranormal experience while still in my crib. I have always had very early memories and tend to have excellent recollection of things that happen. As I grew up, I learned very quickly that other people don't understand or necessarily believe in what I see. I came to terms with that a long time ago. I'm not out to prove or disprove anything to anyone. I know the truth and what I see and I have seen enough to know that all the theories, all the explanations that people spout as the absolute truth of how the universe works have one thing in common... We don't really understand much. The more I learn, the less I know. The more I realize that as a race we know very very little about the real world beyond our everyday physical existence.

My journey began when I was 18 mos. I'm still on that path and will be on it forever. The adventure is what makes life exciting to live. I have been blessed to participate in healings, meet some incredibly in-tune seers/clairvoyants who I count as my friends, and to have been on some pretty incredible adventures. One such adventure was 3-year paranormal project I was invited to participate in. During this time I was trained in hypnosis and conducted past life regressions both as the subject and the conductor.

Prior to all this, I was and still am to a large degree a very reluctant seer, psychic, clairvoyant, whatever tag you wish to place on a person who intuitively knows something. Today's modern term of psychic makes me cringe because of those who have abused and misused people's trust with claims of being psychic. I don't really claim anything, other than I pick up things about people. I have many seer gifts that I've come to believe are hereditary from my Scottish and Irish ancestry.

My good friend, Melissa Alvarez, who is a renowned clairvoyant advisor encouraged me to finally take my ability to the public. She pointed out that others besides family and friends might benefit from what I see. It is for this reason that I am stepping out of my seer closet and offering readings to the general public..

Many clairvoyants use their skills separately. I possess the majority of the skills known as clairaudient, clairvoyant, telekinesis, empathy, psychometry, etc.

Unlike most clairvoyants, I don't divide my talents and use them individually. The way I was given them was as a complete skillset. They are like breathing is to most people. It is a very subconscious ability, so for me to even attempt to use them separately would be a disservice to both of us and probably result in not as complete a picture.

Therefore, you'll find the options are mostly for readings. Not divided up into various abilities. I've been doing readings for over seventeen years and have always had a high rate of accuracy. Oftentimes, people may not remember some of the things I mention but after they've had a chance to think about it, will recall specific details that match up to their reading. This is normal.All readings are done via email. Because of this, you will have the opportunity to ask questions. Due to a time factor, I do limit those to no more than five follow-up questions. That doesn't mean you must ask five questions specific to your reading.

Four Kinds of Readings:

AKASHIC IN-DEPTH READING
After much deliberation and counsel, I have found the best form of reading I can offer to the public is a combination of Past Life readings from the Akashic Records, Numerology, and a Psychic/Clairvoyant reading. (Typically 6-8 pages in length, depending on life theme(s), lesson(s) learned, and any issues that need examining. I do not rush through my readings. I take a great deal of time with them in order to offer you three aspects.

I will read the Akashic Records that are pertinent to your current situation or in response to any question(s) you may have. Typically I am handed your book(s) by the record keeper and I read the pages shown to me. I have no control over what is given to me. It is all determined by your current situation and what you are seeking.

This is an in-depth reading that includes an analysis of the lessons you were supposed to learn in past lifetimes and what you actually walked away with from the experiences and what the ramifications positive and negative are on your current life.

I will then provide a numerological reading on life paths and destiny paths. Typically this give more insight to the past life readings as well.

The last part. I will read you using my abilities as a seer/clairvoyant. In the mainstream, these are typically called psychic readings.

*Please note: Oftentimes, people have certain expectations of what I will tell them. It is human nature to want a psychic/seer to tell you what you want to hear. Oftentimes, people will seek out one psychic after another in a desperate attempt to gain confirmation of what they desire. Biting the Psychic Bullet

Thanks to my good friends, Melissa Alvarez and Sharrin Edwards, I'm going to finally take this to the public.

Giving readings over the past 17 years for friends and family, my psychic buds believe it is time for me to at long last offer these to the general public.

While I've had signs that the timing is right, I've been very hesitant to do this for a number of reasons. I once hosted a booth at an event and gave all my proceeds to the charity, but the energies I absorbed from others during those 3 hours was very overwhelming and so I vowed never to do public readings again.

But things change. We grow and learn ways to prevent this kind of thing from happening, so starting Jan 8, 2008, I will be doing readings for the public and this blog will be my portal for information, tips, etc.

New true ghost story

Well, I haven't had time to smudge and white light room by room like I typically do whenever I've moved into a new house. I did what my mom would call a lick and a promise.

The other morning I was awakened at 5:30 but didn't know what had awakened me. I rolled over beside hubby and suddenly the bathroom door that I close until I hear it catch every night swung open.

I felt the presence of a young girl about nine years old. I didn't say anything because I wanted to see what she was up to since we've been waked up several time by the tv in our bedroom suddenly turning on. The cat jumped off the bed and moved to sit in front of the closet doors looking up as though watching someone. Then he turned and ran from the room and bounded down the stairs as though chasing something or someone.

I sighed and told myself I would have to send the girl on her way later and went back to sleep only to be awakened a few hours later by the TV downstairs in the den blaring. My husband was not in bed, so I assumed he'd decided to watch the morning news a bit louder than norm, so I called down to him, okay I had to yell to be heard above the noise and asked him if he could turn it down a bit, only to have him respond from his office across the hallway, saying he was just about to ask me to do the same thing.

So yesterday I did tell the entity she had to leave because I didn't sense she really needed my help. She was just being mischievous, which my pal, Melissa, verified for me this morning.

Anyway, I guess I spoke too soon about not having any entities in the new house. Hopefully, there won't be anymore passersby. After all these years of dealing with them, I've pretty much put up a do not disturb sign. Maybe I need to make my sign bigger. (g)
